Agave Mustard Dressing
Agave Mustard Dressing
Way back in the day, one of my favorite dressings was good ol Honey Mustard. Since going vegan I’ve been longing for a bee-free replacement….until now.
This creamy dressing is slightly sweet and perfectly tangy. It’s great for pouring over Salads, Roasted Potatoes, and Rice Bowls. Or just like. Straight into your mouth.
Aside from the great flavor, I gotta say, I love that this dressing is made with just a few pantry staples and a fork or whisk. It’s almost too good to be true.
{ Difficulty: Level 1 } [ Makes 2 cups Dressing ]
Ingredients
1/2 cup Tahini
3/4 cup water
3 tbsp Brown Mustard*
1-2 tbsp Agave
2-3 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
1 tsp Onion or Garlic Powder
Salt to taste
Instructions
Whisk all ingredients together in a bowl until completely combined and smooth.
Notes
* Be sure to use Brown Mustard and not classic Yellow, the flavor will be much better. Sub Dijon or a Spicy Mustard for mixed results.
I suggest starting with the smaller measurements for the Agave and Apple Cider Vinegar. Taste your dressing and add more Agave for sweetness and ACV for tang.
