Blueberry Granola Bar Smoothie
Blueberry Granola Bar Smoothie
When I was just a small kiddo, my favorite snack was always one of those Blueberry Nutri-Grain bars. Anyone else remember those tasty lil things?
Years later, I accidentally created a smoothie recipe that tastes just like them. It’s so simple yall, you’ll be surprised at how yummy just a few familiar ingredients can be.
Blend this up any time of day for a big ol blast of berry goodness. It really helps to boost my spirits whenever I’m feelin a bit meh.
{ Difficulty: Level 1 } [ Makes ~24 oz ]
Ingredients
2 x frozen Bananas
1.5 cups frozen Blueberries
1.5 cups Water
2 tbsp ground Flax Seeds
Splash of Vanilla Extract (optional)
Equipment
Blender
Instructions
Throw all ingredients into a blender and blend on high until completely smooth, about 30-60 seconds.
Pour into a nice tall glass and enjoy!
Notes
If you only have whole Flax Seeds, that’s cool. Your smoothie just might be a lil more chewy.
I don’t recommend saving this one for later if you are unable to finish right away. The Blueberries oxidize and get gelatinous if you let it sit for too long.
This is also fantastic when made with Almond or Hemp Milk instead of water.
