Peanut Butter Pear Overnight Oats
Oatmeal doesn’t have to suck
Seriously, though. If warm Oatmeal grosses you out or it’s just not your jam, you should give Overnight Oats a try. Whip these up in a few minutes before going to bed and wake up to a delicious Peanut Buttery breakfast.
They stay good in the fridge for a few days, so it’s real nice to make a few and have a backup meal option when you’re in the throws of burnout .
Also, I just think Overnight Oats are such a solid choice you’ve got a big day ahead of you. Especially when throwing together a smoothie or making a whole breakfast spread just won’t do.
{ Difficulty: Level 1 }
[ Makes ~2 cups ]
Ingredients
1/2 cup Rolled or Quick Oats
3/4 cup Unsweetened Non-Dairy Milk
(I like Oat Milk)
1 tbsp Chia Seeds
1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
2 tbsp Peanut Butter
1 tsp Agave Syrup, Honey, or Maple Syrup
Pinch of Salt
1 x ripe Pear
Instructions
Combine all ingredients except Pear in a seal-able container - I like to use a 16 oz mason jar.
Put lid on and let sit in refrigerator overnight (or at least 2-hours).
When ready to eat, stir Oats with a spoon to make sure all ingredients are incorporated. Dice up your Pear into small pieces and pour over top of the Oats. Eat up!
Notes
Use whatever Peanut Butter is your favorite! I like Crunchy, Salted. If you’re not a fan of PB, use whatever nut butter that tickles your fancy.
Wanna bulk this recipe up even more? Try adding a sliced Banana to the mix. Nothin like Peanut Butter and Banana.
If you’re one to rush in the morning, dice up your Pear the night before. It may be a lil brown and get a lil mushy but you gotta do what you gotta do sometimes.
