It's like a lil cold PB & J Sandwich! I just love this recipe's familiar flavor and overall simplicity.
Truly, I think simplicity is *super* important for easy cooking, but especially for smoothies.
In a Smoothie, fewer ingredients allow the fruity flavors to meddle instead of muddle, if ya know what I mean. And your results are gonna be far more predictable, even when you're estimating the measurements and rushing to make breakfast in 5 minutes, flat.
All of this is to say— when you're making a Smoothie, you don't need to include every Fruit in the freezer. This recipe is a shining example of that. Give it a whirl, and lemme know what ya think.
[ Makes: ~14oz smoothie ]
Ingredients
1 cup frozen Strawberries
1 x fresh Banana
1/2 cup Oat Milk
1 tbsp Instant Oats
1 tbsp Peanut Butter
pinch of Salt, optional
Banana, for topping
Equipment
Blender
Instructions
Gather all your ingredients.
Throw everything but topping(s) into your blender.
Blend on high speed for 30-60 seconds until everything is smooth.
And that's it! Pour into your favorite glass, top with any extra ingredients, and enjoy!
Notes
To turn into a Smoothie Bowl— use frozen Banana. Top with your fav Granola and fresh Fruit of choice. Add an extra drizzle of Peanut Butter
If you're not an Oat Milk person, sub any other Milk you've got. Water also works, but I think the creaminess is nice
Likewise— if you're not a Peanut Butter person, sub whatever Nut Butter you like

I, for one, love to have a Smoothie I can stick a straw in. That's because I usually make Smoothies for convenience. A whole meal in less than a few minutes? And something I can drink while multitasking? Yes, please.
But my friend recently asked about Smoothie Bowl recipes, and it got me thinking...should I start posting Smoothie Bowls?! I used to eat them all the time, so I’ve got some gooduns’ floating in my head.
