Don't Bash the Pre-Made Salad Kits
An ADHD-Burnout Classic
You know when you're in the throws of ADHD burnout and like, your pantry is full of "ingredients" but the last thing you wanna do is cook? That's when it’s time for Bagged Salad, baby.
I swear, these things were an untapped resource in my life for sooo long and they're friggin awesome, lemme tell ya. Whenever I can’t be bothered to think about what I want for lunch, I just grab one of the various pre-made Salad mixes from my fridge.
Most large grocery chains have a plethora of salad kit options to choose from. And it's fun because you can opt for flavors and ingredients you don't often have on-hand. Not to mention, they have the potential to be entirely dish-free, and we love that.
{Difficulty: Level 1}
[Makes: ~2-6 cups salad]
Ingredient Suggestions
From Trader Joe's:

Notes & tips
Do you have a Dish Mountain? Well guess what. You can get a plastic fork and mix these pre-made Salad babies right in the bag and toss the trash when you're done
I prefer the "actually in a bag" Salads to the small clamshell containers. They tend to cost about the same but offer way more sustenance. Halve the bag if you can't eat it in one seating
If your Salad is measly and unfilling, add in a can of Beans, some Tofu, a Veggie Patty, your favorite Meatless Chicken Strips, Rice, Quinoa, or whatever other hearty foods you can think of
Sometimes, you're gonna want more Leafy Greens than the bags offer. I recommend getting a bag of Coleslaw mix or Salad Greens if you wanna bulk your salad up
so What’s your fav pre-made salad kit?
I’m vegan, right? Which essentially means my options are relatively limited when it comes to the bounty of Bagged Salads at the grocery store. So I wanna know what your favs are, where you get em, and how you like to eat them! Do you add extra ingredients? Do you make your own dressings?
